A Local Marketing District (LMD) is an organization formed for the purpose of advertising, marketing, and promoting tourism within the service area.  Below is the service area for the Estes Park Local Marketing District.

LMD Top 10: Things to Know about your Local Marketing District

The Town of Estes Park and Larimer County entered into an Intergovernmental Agreement in August 2008 for the formation of the Estes Park Local Marketing District after receiving a petition for the organization of the district from the requisite number of owners of commercial real property in the proposed service area.  The district will be funded by a 2% marketing and promotion tax.  This tax will only be collected on overnight accommodations of 30 days or less.

Standing Board Meetings:

• Our monthly Board Meeting is the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 2:00 PM in Town Hall.

• Our monthly work session is the 4th Tuesday of each month at 3:00 PM in the CVB Conference Room.
