The ESTES PARK ASSOCIATION NETWORKING FORUM
will hold their first meeting on
Thursday, March 5, 2009
at 4 pm at the Municipal Building, Room #130.
 

Who is invited?

For the initial meeting, the Local Marketing District (LMD) is encouraging every Board member from each of the Estes Park associations to attend. The focus of the forum will encompass tourism related discussion. Members of the associations may attend, as well. Each Board can then discuss if they choose to send key representatives from their association for future meetings

What is the purpose of the meeting?

The LMD is creating and facilitating (not managing) a forum that encourages all of the organized associations in Estes Park to meet and share ideas, goals, challenges and accomplishments. Please click here for the Agenda in a PDF.

What is the goal of this forum?

It will provide a venue for all of the associations to share their thoughts, challenges and ideas. This will encourage the associations to work together in areas that are beneficial to each other. Many of the associations have programs and projects that are beneficial to other associations.

What is the LMD’s role?

The LMD is organizing this forum and encouraging any association that is interested to attend.

Also, this forum will allow the LMD an avenue to communicate the direction they are taking with branding, sales and marketing for Estes Park. The associations will be well-informed of this direction and can decide to implement the same or similar ideas within their own organization. The key to branding is consistency. Businesses and associations will benefit if Estes Park can create a stronger brand that is consistent and focused throughout all areas of the town.

The LMD will seek information from each association that will assist the LMD Board with how to address challenges businesses and associations have.

How often will this meeting take place?

We will discuss this at the first meeting; however, the LMD is considering quarterly meetings.

Can any association in Estes Park attend?

Yes, we are encouraging any association in Estes Park to attend. The board and members of each association are welcome.
